Northern Lights Lap Quilt Kit - by Corey Pearson

Below are the instructions to create this masterpiece.  And in this collection are all the products needed to make it happen.

Just review construction and add all products to cart and happy quilting.

1. Cut 2.5" width-of-fabric strips from the five quilt-top fabrics.
2. Sew strip sets in groups of three, mixing dark, medium, light, and neutral values.
3. Press seams consistently, then subcut strip sets into 6.5" rail fence blocks.
4. Arrange 8 blocks across by 10 blocks down, rotating alternating blocks 90 degrees for the woven rail-fence effect.
5. Sew rows together for a quilt top approximately 48" x 60".
6. Layer with the full-size 80/20 batting and 2 yards of 58"/60" Cuddle backing.
7. Quilt with simple wavy vertical lines, soft diagonal lines, or a watery meander to reinforce the Northern Lights / river palette.
8. Bind with Charcoal for a crisp, modern frame.
